Any reference to “we” or “us” or “our” shall be construed accordingly. We own and operate this website. “You” and “your” means a user of the registration service on this website or a user placing an order or delivery service from this website.
Capacity to Contract
You are confirming by placing an order that you are not a minor and are aged 18 or over and have the capacity to enter into a contract with us.
Next-day Delivery Service
All orders from www.chandrafoods.com are processed as a “Same-Day Dispatch” provided you have placed your order before 12pm mid-day between Monday to Thursday. After that time Chandra Foods Ltd, will strive to process your order and dispatch it to the courier company the next business day (excluding Friday, Saturday and Sunday). In some circumstances, your goods may not be delivered to you on time, even though Chandra Foods Ltd. has dispatched your order the within the time given.
Since Chandra Foods Ltd, has booked a next-day delivery, we will not be held responsible if the delivery of your order is delayed by the courier company or any other third party, including but not limited to the customs in the shipment country and the receiver of the goods as prescribed in the shipment details. Once we dispatch your order, we will issue you with a shipment email with your order’s tracking number details. You MUST inform Chandra Foods if you do not receive your shipment number after placing your order by 7pm in order to identify any issues. Once you have received your shipment tracking number via email, it is your responsibility to check the progress of your shipment with the courier company.
It is also vital that customers ensure that they refrigerate their goods upon receipt, (sweets / chilled items or fresh items). Frozen items should be kept in the freezer upon receipt or if they are bakery items, ensure that these are kept in a cool dry place.
Non-delivery of Items
All orders require a signature on delivery, which will usually occur between 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., Monday to Friday in the UK mainland only. Please ensure that someone is available to accept delivery during these hours.
Should our courier be unable to deliver, a card will be left to inform the recipient how they can collect their parcel or arrange a re-delivery. It will then become the recipient’s responsibility to contact our courier to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. If no contact is made re-delivery may be attempted without further contact with the recipient. You MUST inform Chandra Foods Ltd. immediately if you do NOT receive your parcel by 6 pm the day you would receive your order, for us to locate your parcel.
If you have any complaints or queries regarding an order should be made directly to info@chandrafoods.com within 48 hours. Chandra Foods Ltd, will not accept any liability for any loss or damage by reason of a delivery failure owing to the recipient not being available, or if the goods perish and become inedible as a result of non-delivery. In the unlikely event that Chandra Foods Ltd, has failed to dispatch your order, you will be entitled to a full refund or having your order dispatched at a later date.
International Delivery & UK Highlands and offshore
Orders delivered to international destinations and UK highland or offshore destinations are also dispatched the next day, after which the courier company will take 2-5 days to deliver. We do not recommend you send certain temperature-sensitive products to international destinations with a hot climate or other places which have a long transit time as we cannot guarantee the temperature of our goods during transit.
Chandra Foods Ltd, cannot accept any liability, which is hereby excluded to the full extent permitted by the laws of England, for any perished Products when shipped outside UK mainland areas.
Possible Delays
Under certain circumstances, it may not be possible for Chandra Foods Ltd, to dispatch your order the next day.
If you have provided incorrect or insufficient shipment details, your order will be on hold until you provide us with the correct shipment details.
If you have requested any products which are out of stock, we will hold your order until we have the items in stock and dispatch your order at a later date. Out of courtesy, we may try to contact you via email or telephone to inform you that there are items out of stock; with your permission, we may switch the products out of stock for other products of similar value so that we can dispatch your order on time.
We will not refund delivery charges when deliveries are delayed
Special Instructions
Should you wish to delay your order for a future date, you may do so by completing the order and replying to the “confirmation order” email you will receive after making payment. PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT accept any messages or instructions via PayPal or Sage Pay, we strictly advise customers to leave instructions ONLY via replying to your confirmation email. Kindly note that we cannot send out your order outside of our delivery hours between 8 am to 6 pm. If you will not be home to receive your order and instruct us to leave your parcel with a neighbour or leave in “a safe place” for example in a porch or in garage etc, you agree that Chandra Foods Ltd will NOT be held responsible for any loss or damage of your goods.
For reasons outside our control, there may be times when we will not be able to supply you with a product. When this occurs, we will endeavour to send you a comparable substitute of the same, or higher value. Risk of damage or loss to the goods (including deterioration of fresh foods) passes to you on delivery or if delivery is attempted but you are not present to accept delivery or wrongfully refuse delivery or if an incorrect address is supplied.
Fragile Items
All orders are dispatched with clear notices for the courier to handle your order correctly informing them of their fragility. However, on rare occasions, you may find these items may break upon receipt. Chandra Foods Ltd. will not be held liable for such instances and if customers purchase these items, they agree that they accept the delivered product as is upon receipt.

Cancellation Policy
Since all orders from www.chandrafoods.com are processed as a “Same-Day Dispatch” all orders are priority orders and therefore cannot be cancelled as any usual service, we do require at least 24-48 hours prior notice to dispatch for cancellation.
Please do not order from us online unless you are 100% sure you require our products and services.
If you have ordered for an advanced date you may cancel your order less than the value of 100.00 GBP 24 hours before the due dispatch date. For larger orders over 100.00GBP, we will need at least 48 hours prior notice to dispatch date to cancel your order. Cancelling orders with a value of 100.00 GBP or more will incur a 25% handling and restocking fee.
