Boondi – Plain, Crispy Gram Flour Pearls for Raita, Chaat & Snacking

Boondi is made from tiny drops of gram flour batter, fried into small, crisp pearls. It’s one of the most useful ingredients in an Indian kitchen. You can stir it into yoghurt, scatter it over chaat or just eat a handful with chai.

Our plain boondi is made with only three ingredients: gram flour, water and rapeseed oil. There’s no added salt or spice, so you season it your way. If you want to buy boondi online in the UK for everyday cooking, this 250g pack is easy to keep in the cupboard.

🌿 Why Choose Chandra Foods Boondi?

  • Just three ingredients – gram flour, water and rapeseed oil, nothing else
  • No added salt – you control the seasoning in every dish
  • Light, even pearls – small and crisp, so they blend well into yoghurt and chaat
  • Vegan approved – plant-based and suitable for everyday cooking
  • Made in the UK – by a family business making Indian snacks since 1985

🥣 How to Use Boondi

  • Boondi raita – stir into chilled yoghurt with roasted cumin and a pinch of salt
  • Chaat topping – sprinkle over papdi chaat, dahi puri or bhel for extra crunch
  • Tea time snack – toss with chaat masala or chilli powder and eat with chai
  • Homemade mixture – combine with sev, peanuts and other namkeen
